UK Nano & Emerging Technologies Forum 2009

3 - 4 November 2009
London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel

In its fourth year running, this year’s annual UK Nano & Emerging Technologies Forum 2009 comprised a two-day conference and exhibition bringing over 420 delegates, representing some 23 countries, together to network and identify potential business and collaboration opportunities.

The event included breakout sessions covering Healthcare & Life Sciences; Energy & Environment; and Materials & Devices, providing a platform for discussion on how nanotechnology can meet global and societal challenges. The exhibition showcased the very best of UK nanotechnology, and a session of technology 'elevator' pitches provided the perfect environment for new partnerships and business opportunities.

The Business Innovation Awards were awarded for the second year, with University College London, Promethean Particles and AM Technology announced as the winners for their categories. Click here for further information.

The EPSRC Awards for Young Scientists were presented at the evening reception and awarded to Mark Raine, Department of Physics at Durham University, Joe Atherton also of Durham University, and Thao Nguyen Nguyen of University of Southampton. Click here for further information.

Over 45 Speakers presented across the two day conference. To download their presentations, click here.
